Project Details

Digital Arts Storytelling Project is a 10-day summer immersion workshop for youth and families, that introduces participants to the art of telling stories through photography and video.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

As a result of this project, children and teens will. create digital media works that honor their artistic and civic voice and support their professional development as digital media art makers. Evaluation will occur through a series of oral questionnaires, pre and post assessment of participants, participation tallies and a follow-up meeting with planners - focusing on 1) participant engagement and 2) achievement of artistic and civic goals.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Summer Arts at Studio 110 impacted 44 youth and adults. Of those participating in activities: - 88% demonstrated increased proficiency in digital art making techniques; - 70% demonstrated increased ability of participants to ask questions and comment on other's artwork; - 82% increased ability to articulate opinions around art, diversity and activism. - 96% of all participants indicated an increased interest in learning more about the arts.
