Participants will complete a survey following the program and we will track attendance at the program. Desired outcomes include; participants will learn a new creative skill by making their own penny rug. They will also learn about the history of this Civil War Era craft as well about the life and culture in America during the Civil War.

Comments from the survey included: 'Very interesting - history presented as well has handicraft.' & 'It was great! The project was a great way to actually learn the skills. The presenters were so helpful as well.' .
