Project Overview
Minnesota author, Erin Hart and Paddy O'Brien presented an afternoon of Irish music and mystery at the Hinckley Public Library on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Paddy played tunes on his button accordion and told tales of growing up in Ireland and Erin talked about her latest book, The Book of Killowen.

Attendees will learn about Ireland by listening to music and true stories of growing up (by Paddy O'Brien) and through the telling of a fictional tale based on an Irish 9th century book (by Minnesota author, Erin Hart).
Measurable Outcome(s)
The majority of those in attendance were over the age of 65 and over 80% of them were aware of the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Comments included: Being of Irish Heritage and a reader it suited me just right!; Very informative got me interested in Irish music and history; and Lovely! educational and personal.
