People of all ages went to the Children's Room of the Rum River Library to watch Anoka High School students and their Art Teacher, Diane Gronewold, paint. People were fascinated to see the murals being painted and watch the hub of activity as students painted the canvases. People comment everyday on how wonderful the art work is in the Children's Room and they ask questions about how it was done -- artist designed on paper, used an overhead projector and traced images on the walls and canvases and talented teen artists painted in the design. There is no audience attendance per say for this project as people will admire the work and images for years. However, 1,451 people visited the Rum River Library Children's Room on June 5.
